Great food Awesome friendly staff The rib eye was so tasty and cooked to perfection.
The food came quickly, the steak was phenomenal. Every bite of octopus and steak was flavorful and tender and the price for the steak (coming from an american) was decently affordable. Not pictured but there we ordered strawberry margaritas too and they were delicious! 10/10 and ambiance was dim and romantic.
Went to this place with high expectations after reading all the reviews. Unfortunately we didn't have the same experience as many of the other people, but there were some definite pluses. The pros: quaint, cool, local ambience that didn't feel like a tourist trap. For starters, the bacon wrapped peppers were very good, lamb barbacoa was decent, and tortilla soup was good. Staff was friendly and it had a fun vibe. Everything was reasonably priced and they have daily specials. For the main course the pork ribs were pretty good. There was a pork shank special that we didn't get but as I saw a few of them get delivered to other tables I regretted my decision not to order it. The cons: took a while to have our order taken. The staff was having fun but sometimes it seemed like too much fun as a lot of their attention was on chatting with each other rather than paying attention to the guests. The bone in filet was underwhelming, but fortunately I shared some of the pork ribs. All and all it was a decent place with better than average food at reasonable prices and a good vibe, however with all the other great restaurants around we probably won't be back any time soon.
Trust me, listen to the Yelpers on this one. For reference.... I'm staying at the Waldorf and I've eaten at both restaurants on property (Don Manuel's and El Farrallon) & I can assure you this food is SO MUCH BETTER and a fraction of the cost. Service is also top notch. We are here 2 more nights and are coming back again lol Vibes are cozy, Cadillac margs were amazing but quite frothy. Apps: caprese salad and Baja tacos started us off right. Mains: fettuccine basilico with shrimp, ribeye Everything amazing --
Found this hidden gem away from the touristy Marina area. Coming to Cabo for the past 8 years and it never ceases to amaze me how many great restaurants there are, but this one is by far the best we've run across. Great atmosphere, delicious and reasonably priced food, and wait staff is fun, informative, and attentive. This is now on our "GoTo" for every years visit.
We love this Cabo restaurant! We often end the trip saying Pelegrino was one of our favorite and less expensive sit down meals in Cabo. I love the food here because you can find the most basic things like a steak done well, to the most complex things like the bacon wrapped peppers in a Jamaica compote and everything in between. Muy little times I've gotten the shrimp Alfredo and am always extremely impressed by the quantity and deliciousness of the giant shrimp. The bacon wrapped peppers are a must-try. Very flavorful and just unlike much you've had before. The pork shank is always a huge win at the table, and even the fish tacos were raved about. I appreciate the portion sizes and prices here. Prices are very reasonable, hot to mention they have a list of weekly specials that are about $15-18 and entree for a lot of food. Try this place out - we are continually pleased with it!!
What an AMAZING place!! From the food, to the service you can't go wrong!!! We had a party of 7 and everyone devoured their meals. From the tuna tartar, rib eye, bacon wrapped, pasta, and dessert! This place is small but don't judge a book by its cover. They serve some 5 star food. Fantastic chefs, service and we felt at home. I highly recommend them when visiting Cabo. We were celebrating a 50th Birthday here and it was very memorable. Would come back and we highly recommend.
Mezcal Infused Melted Cheese 4 Spanish chorizo, smoked tomato salsa, tortillas, flavorful Caribbean Peppers 5 yellow chili pepper, stuffed with shrimp and cream cheese, wrapped in bacon, hibiscus sauce, dry fruit flavor Pork Shank on Adobo Sauce 3 slightly dry, sauce salty & smoky, not my fav, pepper, potato, vinegar, tortilla Flan 4 milky, sweet
10/10 highly recommend this place. The service is wonderful and the staff was so nice from the moment we walked in. We didn't have a reservation and even though it was busy we were offered a table. Absolutely amazing service and friendly staff. We got the surf and turf with the lobster tail which was tender and cooked perfectly to how we asked. The flavor was perfect. We also got the shrimp fajitas which come in a savory tomato beer sauce and the shrimp are perfectly cooked. The shrimp comes with homemade corn tortillas, you can get flour tortillas also, black beans, and guacamole. The salsa was great with a nice kick and flavor and hot. At the end of our meal the staff gave us a complimentary dessert wishing us a safe trip. Will be coming back here for sure. Drinks are strong and prices are pretty reasonable. It's a small place but I am so glad we tried it out.
